"What should a new machine do? Much more. An unprecedented gameplay experience. Something no other machine has delivered before. The definition for a new machine must be different. I want you to know that Nintendo is working on our next system, and that system will create a gaming revolution."

Was 2011 when Satoru Iwata the Nintendo's president said these words in the Nintendo's E3 pre-show press conference, less than two and a half years after the Game Cube, Nintendo wanted to start a revolution named Nintendo "Revolution", luckily Nintendo decided that "Wii" was better name for their new system in fact you can't say Wii without smiling.

After 7 years of one of the greatest success of the company you can say that Nintendo was right, Nintendo Wii was a revolution, it change the way people saw the video games bringing a new type of costumer to the industry, but what was next? What do you can do to continue this type of revolution? Well, for Nintendo, the Wii U was the answer. Better graphics but the same concept and a new way of playing, the "Wii U GamePad". Nintendo make a huge effort to make understand that the "Wii U GamePad" was not just a tablet but a new generation game controller. The idea was to bring the two screen playing concept of the NDS to the Wii.

The second touchscreen of the Wii U GamePad opened a world of possibilities, use the touchscreen to control de gameplay on the tv, use the accelerometer to control  the game with the Wii U GamePad, control the Wii U GamePad via the Stylus, use the Wii remote controllers and the Wii U GamePad for up to 5 player gameplay, use the Wii U GamePad screen for another perspective on gameplay or play just with the Wii U GamePad. A natural evolution of the Wii and a perfect combination of the Wii and NDS concept, the Nintendo Wii U is probably one of the best options if you're looking for a different way of playing video games and a tons of fun.

Furthermore, games like Mario Party 10 or Super Smash Bros. for Wii U used the popular Amiibo figures which brings you additional content to your game and allows you to save certain data and use it in another Wii U.
