Important Notice for U.S. Bound Shipments

Fri, May 2nd 2025, 16:16:52

Dear Customer,

Effective May 2, 2025, the U.S. government has eliminated the de minimis exemption for products from China and Hong Kong. This means that a package valued at $800 or less may now be subject to duties and customs fees. While it's unclear whether shipments from Japan will be uniformly affected, there may be differing interpretations of customs practices.

We declare "Japan" as the country of origin for all of our shipments, but some products may include items manufactured in China. US Customs has rarely inspected the contents of shipments valued at $800 or less; however, this may change. If U.S. Customs inspects and identifies products from China and Hong Kong, duties may be applied at their discretion. We recommend increased attention to the $800 threshold when shipping a package to the US.
