Due to new regulations introduced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), J-Subculture will no longer be able to help you purchase the following items.

• Plush toys

• Figures and toys

• Children's products

• Household goods

• Home appliances

• Electronic products

• Other products that may be subject to CPSC regulations

For items that have already been purchased

We will do our best to classify the shipment under an HS code that is less likely to be affected by the CPSC regulations. However, the final decision is made by U.S. Customs, and we cannot guarantee that the shipment will be delivered successfully to your U.S. address.

If the shipment is determined to be subject to the CPSC regulations, it is currently unclear whether it will be returned or destroyed. As these regulations are new, neither Japan Post nor we can predict how such cases will be handled.

Please note that we are unable to provide compensation if the shipment cannot be delivered. EMS is the only shipping method available for these items.

Background Information

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced that products regulated by the CPSC must be registered through its Product Registry (electronic filing system) before arriving in the United States.

Because this system requires extensive product-specific information that is generally available only from manufacturers and original sellers, J-Subculture is unable to comply with these requirements for affected products.
